Shepherd’s Rest is not a typical pastors retreat.

It’s a three day off-grid experience designed for Lead Pastors to lay down the weight of the stage, the expectations, and the pressure… and remember what it means to simply be a son, a daughter, a disciple of Jesus.

It’s a retreat for the soul. A repair shop for the heart. A place to remember why you said yes to Jesus in the first place.

This is sacred rest. Confession. Communion.

Come and remember who you are — without the platform.

Below you will find your daily invitation to rest and repair — but you're always free to follow your own pace, join as you're ready, or simply retreat into solitude to reflect and revive.

Wednesday November 19

  • 3:00–6:00 PM – Arrival & Room Check-In

  • 6:30 PM – Welcome Dinner – Home-cooked meal and unhurried fellowship

  • 7:30 PM – Evening Gathering: “Taking your Seat at The Sacred Table”
    A time of communion, stories, and ministry around Jesus' invitation to the table

  • 9:00 PM – Light dessert + quiet reflection or rest

Thursday November 20

  • 8:00 AM – Coffee, Light Breakfast Available

  • 9:00–11:30 AM – Morning Gathering: “When the Shepherd Breaks”
    Honest teaching and soul-care focused on burnout, wounds, and rediscovering grace

  • 12:00 PM – Lunch Together

  • 1:00–3:00 PM – Sacred Solitude & Guided Reflection
    Space to walk the property, journal, pray, and simply be

  • 3:00–5:00 PM – Optional Activities & Rest
    Options may include: fishing, reading in the outdoor chapel, Golf hitting bay, Cornhole, Ping Pong room, naps, or one-on-one conversations with our team

  • 6:00 PM – Steak Dinner at Sunset – Grilled on-site with all the fixings

  • 7:30 PM – The Fire Circle: “The Way Forward is Backward - Conversations around the Early Church”
    Worship, guided conversation, honest storytelling, and prayer around the fire and under the stars

Friday november 21

  • 8:00 AM – Breakfast & Coffee Available

  • 9:00–11:00 AM – Closing Gathering: “Whispers of Ruah”
    A space for the Spirit to breath and for men to fill their lungs again

  • 12:00 PM – Final Lunch Together

  • 1:00 PM – Departure with full hearts and lighter shoulders

THE COST: NOTHING AND EVERYTHING

There is no charge to attend Shepherd’s Rest.

This sacred encounter is made possible by the generosity of our ministry partners who believe that no lead pastor should be turned away from rest, healing, and resurrection because of finances.

That said, if you or your church are in a position to "pay it forward," you're welcome to bring an offering of your choosing. Every gift helps us continue to serve broken pastors and their families with no strings attached.

But more than money, what we ask is this:
Come with a willingness to lay it all down.

The title. The pressure. The platform. The secrets.
Let go of what’s breaking you — and make space for what could remake you.
